Hello from my little corner of the creative world! I’m excited to announce a number of Zentangle and Zentangle-Inspired Art (ZIA) classes and Tangle Club gatherings which I’ve scheduled over the next couple of months (with both in-person AND online options!), but first I’d like to share a bit about our “All You Need is Love” Tangle Club session which was held in January at Walkerville Artists Collective in Windsor, Ontario.
We met together on a Sunday afternoon and, in preparation for February and Valentine’s Day, set an intention for the year to show the people in our lives that we appreciate them. In support of that aim, each of us created a selection of tiny tangled notes and envelopes using a variety of heart-themed tangle patterns in our designs, and went home afterward with a few “blanks” to create additional tangled greetings in the days to come. Feast your eyes on some of the lovely pieces tangle clubbers created!
One of my favourite parts of any Zentangle class or gathering is when we all bring our finished pieces together to create a mosaic, and take the time to admire and appreciate each individual’s unique and personal take on the project at hand. There is so much beauty in our diverse interpretations!
Introduction to Zentangle for Newcomers
Calling all new students! You are invited to sign up for one of my Introduction to Zentangle classes in 2024. This introductory class is a prerequisite to all of my advanced “next level” classes, and is suitable for all ages and abilities. No previous artistic experience required – if you can write your name, you can create art with the Zentangle Method!

Returning Students
If you have previously completed Introduction to Zentangle with me (or another Certified Zentangle Teacher), or are scheduled to complete one beforehand, you are welcome to sign up for any of my advanced “next level” classes currently open for registration.

Back in the summer of 2023 I started up a new venture – monthly “Tangle Club” gatherings for my local students and Zentangle enthusiasts where we meet as a group to tangle, learn, share, and socialize. We’ve had a lot of fun together, and look forward to new opportunities for creativity and building friendships throughout the year.
