Greetings to my students (past, present, and future!) as we all navigate these crazy, difficult, and (at risk of using an overused word) unprecedented times in the midst of the ongoing COVID-19 global pandemic. I am currently healthy and well and staying at home as much as possible to do my part to help flatten the curve, and I trust this is the case for you as well.
From a Zentangle teaching perspective, unprecedented times call for unprecedented measures – so, once the initial shock and confusion of having to shut down or change one after another aspect of my life (including cancelling or postponing several scheduled classes), I began to shift my focus and ask how I could share my love of Zentangle online. After receiving some great feedback from several of my fellow CZTs (Certified Zentangle Teachers), I decided to go forward with this new adventure and start by offering a few online Introduction to Zentangle classes during the month of April. They will be hosted on Zoom, and are open for registration to anyone, anywhere in the world. All times listed are Eastern Daylight Time (GMT-4).
I’m excited about this new adventure, and truly hope to see many new students join in and learn the Zentangle Method, so that they can go on to reap its benefits and possibilities for bringing a measure of calm, peace, and relaxation to life.
My currently scheduled online classes are listed below, but first I wanted to share a few photos from my last face-to-face classes. I taught a number of new students at three separate Introduction to Zentangle classes, and enjoyed bringing Zentangle® Beyond Basics Class – Shades of Grey and Zentangle®-Inspired Art (ZIA) Class – Fandala to several of my returning students. Check out some of their lovely work!
Now on to what’s new! While at this point I am only offering online Introduction to Zentangle classes for new students, depending on how the situation evolves I may also schedule some “next level” online classes for my returning students in future. Stay tuned!
(FYI, if you’re not available for one of my scheduled classes, would prefer individual online instruction, or want to host an online class for a group of friends, I’m there for you! Give me a shout and we’ll chat.)
Note: This class is a prerequisite to all other Zentangle classes.
$30 per person (online classes are offered at a reduced rate, with students responsible for obtaining their own supplies prior to class)
