Hello from my little corner of the world, where creative things are happening every day!
First off, I’m excited to share that our new Artful3 Studio has officially opened to the public for classes (read all about it here, if you missed my previous post, and check out our Classes & Events page for details of what the three of us are offering). I was thrilled to kick things off with an Introduction to Zentangle class attended by a lovely group of people who produced some beautiful tiles!
I absolutely loved meeting each one of them, and introducing them to our lovely new space, and went home energized for all of the fun things planned in the studio for the days to come.
With that in mind, I hope to be able to welcome YOU to our space – or, if you’re not in my area, meet you at one of my online classes! Read on for details of what’s on offer over the next couple of months.
Family Fun Day – Monday, February 17, 2025
Family Day is coming soon, and the artists of Artful3 Studio will be opening our space at #2-1156 Wyandotte Street East in Windsor to host a fun day of activities for all ages! We invite you to drop in any time between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to check out our new space, meet the artists, and create some fun take-away projects.
- Make a beautiful glass suncatcher of your own design with Danielle, who will provide you with plenty of examples and templates to get your creative juices going. The cost of $15 includes supplies, use of tools, and kiln firing, and you’ll be able to pick up your final project at the studio in about 1-2 weeks’ time.
- Join Leslie in creating an Origami animal face, complete with googly eyes (free activity)!
- Spend some time with me and tangle a one-of-a-kind Zentangle®-Inspired Art (ZIA) Family Banner (free activity) – no experience necessary!

Introduction to Zentangle for Newcomers
Calling all new students! You are invited to sign up for one of my Introduction to Zentangle classes in 2025. This introductory class is a prerequisite to all of my advanced “next level” classes, and is suitable for all ages and abilities. No previous artistic experience required – if you can write your name, you can create art with the Zentangle Method!
Coming up in early March I will be offering three opportunities (two in-person classes and one online) for students to discover the joy of Zentangle with me – please click here for details of all sessions currently open for registration.
Returning Students
If you have previously completed Introduction to Zentangle with me (or another Certified Zentangle Teacher®), or are scheduled to complete one beforehand, you are welcome to sign up for any of my advanced “next level” classes currently open for registration.
Coming up in March and April I’ll be doing something a little different by offering a comprehensive series of Beyond Basics classes, with sessions happening weekly. If you’ve wondered how to take your Zentangle practice to the next level, or want to expand your creative skills by exploring key areas of The Zentangle Method in greater depth, this is a fabulous opportunity for you to do so within the span of just a few weeks!
Students may choose to take as many of my Beyond Basics classes as they wish, and as a special bonus, those who opt to sign up for all four in-person classes at once may do so for a reduced price by taking advantage of either the Zentangle® Beyond Basics Class Bundle – IN-PERSON or Zentangle® Beyond Basics Class Bundle – ONLINE option.

Back in the summer of 2023 I started up a new venture – monthly “Tangle Club” gatherings for my local students and Zentangle enthusiasts where we meet as a group to tangle, learn, share, and socialize. We’ve had a lot of fun together, and look forward to new opportunities for creativity and building friendships throughout 2025 in our beautiful new Artful3 Studio space. I’ve scheduled an entire year’s worth of gatherings, so visit the Tangle Club page to check the dates and mark your calendar!
