Happy (almost) New Year as we plan to say goodbye to 2025 and look forward to welcoming 2026!
This past year has been a fairly extraordinary one in my corner of the world which involved (among many other happenings) opening up a brand new studio space (Artful3 Studio) in January with two creative partners and starting to offer Zentangle classes there in February; travelling with my husband to Toronto, Vancouver, and Victoria throughout most of the month of July; selling not one, not two, but THREE houses (long story!) between May and October; and finally packing up our possessions and four cats and moving to what we hope is our forever home in a new-to-us part of town. It’s only over the past month or so that life is beginning to settle down, and though we still have many boxes left to be unpacked we are both starting to feel like we are home.
With all of that taken care of, it’s time to move on to planning for the new year! I’m really excited to announce that I have now set up my class schedule for the entirety of 2026 and have a LOT to offer to both new and returning students, here in Windsor and beyond. Read on for the details!
Introduction to Zentangle Classes for Newcomers
Calling all new students! You are invited to sign up for one of my Introduction to Zentangle classes in either January, March, May, July, September, or November of 2026. This introductory class is the foundation of all of my other Zentangle and Zentangle-Inspired Art (ZIA) classes, and is suitable for all ages and abilities. No previous artistic experience required – if you can write your name, you can create art with the Zentangle Method!
I will be offering opportunities for both in-person and online classes throughout the year, so wherever you are in the world you can join me and discover the joy of Zentangle for yourself! Zentangle-Inspired Art (ZIA) Classes
I’m really excited about the Zentangle-Inspired Art (ZIA) classes I’ve lined up for 2026! While completing an Introduction to Zentangle class is recommended prior to taking a ZIA class with me, registration is open to all interested students regardless of previous experience.

Tangle Club
Back in the summer of 2023 I started up a new venture – monthly “Tangle Club” gatherings for my local students and Zentangle enthusiasts where we meet as a group to tangle, learn, share, and socialize. We’ve had a lot of fun together since then, and I look forward to new opportunities for creativity and building friendships throughout 2026 in our beautiful Artful3 Studio space! 10th Anniversary Surprise!
Way back in June, 2016 I completed my first ever Zentangle Teacher Training Program and was proud to become a brand new Certified Zentangle Teacher® (CZT®).
I can hardly believe that I’ll be celebrating my 10th CZT Anniversary this coming year!
In honour of this milestone, and to thank my students and the tangling community for your support throughout the years, I will be offering three opportunities for you to take a complimentary 10th anniversary class with me. Local students may participate in an in-person class at Artful3 Studio on either Monday, June 29 at 6:00 p.m. or Friday, July 3 at 1:00 p.m. (as there is limited space, registration will be on a first come, first served basis), and an online session will be held on Saturday, July 4 at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time. More information on my complimentary anniversary events will be provided as we get closer to June – I hope you’ll be able to join me for one of them!
Private Classes and Special Events
Several times throughout the year I’ve been asked if I offer individual instruction or private group classes, or whether I’m available to teach at a special event – and the answer to all of those questions is most definitely YES! Whether locally (at Artful3 Studio, in your home, at a community location, in your school, at your church, etc.) or online, I am available to bring the joy of Zentangle to you and your group, and would love the opportunity to work with you.
