It’s not about the numbers; still, it feels like a bit of a milestone to be able to announce that I’ve now taught more than 100 individual students (107, to be precise!) since becoming a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT®) in the summer of 2016. Each of those 107 students have completed Introduction to Zentangle with me, and many have gone on to develop their Zentangle® practice by returning to take my advanced classes. Several of my students have even displayed their work at local Windsor, Ontario art events, first at our Zentangle® Student Art Show 2018 held at Walkerville Artists’ Co-op last May, and then in our Zentangle®-Inspired Art booth at Open Streets Windsor in September.

This milestone and what it represents is both thrilling and humbling, and I’m grateful for every opportunity I’ve been given to teach the people in my community. Here’s to many more future occasions in which to share the joy of Zentangle®!

Over the past couple of months I’ve taught several Introduction to Zentangle classes to new students, as well as Zentangle® Tile Introduction Class – Black Tiles to some of my returning students. Have a look at their lovely work!

Going forward, there is just one more chance in 2018 for those of you who are new to the Zentangle Method to take my introductory class, and two advanced sessions scheduled for my returning students. All classes will be held in the beautiful gallery space at the Walkerville Artists’ Co-op. If you’re in the Windsor-Essex region of Ontario, I hope to see you soon!

(FYI, if you’re not available for one of my scheduled classes, would prefer individual instruction, or want to host a class for a group of friends in your home or workplace, I’m there for you! Give me a shout and we’ll chat.)
