Note: Introduction to Zentangle provides the foundation for all of my Zentangle and Zentangle-Inspired Art (ZIA) offerings and is an ideal starting point for new students. While completion of an introductory class is recommended, students are welcome to register for any of my classes regardless of prior experience.
In this Zentangle-Inspired Art (ZIA) class students will study and explore different types of pattern fragments and how they behave when tiled together in various ways. Using accessible printmaking tools and a selection of surfaces, students will look at four different categories of fragments and learn how to combine and manipulate them to create unique patterns, coming away with an almost limitless supply of creative possibilities to apply to their Zentangle and ZIA artwork.
IN-PERSON classes are held at Artful3 Studio (#2-1156 Wyandotte Street East, Windsor, Ontario, Canada). Required supplies will be provided and/or available for use in class.
