Note: This class is a prerequisite to many other Zentangle® classes.
“Introduction to Zentangle” will provide a beginner with a background in the history of Zentangle, introduce them to the basic steps of the method, and expose them to associated vocabulary and tools used. Students will be immersed in learning tangle patterns as they create Zentangle paper “tiles” and will leave with a clear understanding that, “Anything is possible one stroke at a time.”®
IN-PERSON classes are held regularly at Artful3 Studio (#2-1156 Wyandotte Street East, Windsor, Ontario, Canada) on selected Mondays starting at 6:00 p.m., and selected Fridays starting at 1:00 p.m. A supply kit is included in the cost of all in-person “Introduction to Zentangle” classes, and will be given to registered students when they arrive at class. Students may keep this kit to continue their Zentangle practice at home, and should bring it to any future in-person advanced “next level” classes.
ONLINE classes are hosted on Zoom and held throughout the year on selected Saturdays starting at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time, with supply and login information sent via e-mail to registered students. Supplies are NOT included in the cost of online classes. Students will be given a full list of required supplies (including alternative options), and may opt to either provide their own or purchase supplies online from me for local (Windsor, Ontario) pickup.
Introductory classes run for approximately 2.5 to three hours.
